Design Process.

    • An inquiry directed to Archive Avenue will lead to a detailed consultation

    • This initial conversation will cover what will be involved in the design process, what to expect, and set up a client meeting. 

    • We take this opportunity to understand your vision, needs, and preferences, ensuring a tailored approach to your project.

    • 1st Client Meeting (Face to face or virtual meeting to discuss the project in detail)

    • Fee Proposal: a transparent and comprehensive fee proposal is provided, outlining the cost structure. 

    • Design Agreement: a formal agreement is established, covering all aspects of the project.

    • Client Brief Established - Detail discussions to identify specific styles, objectives, budgets, and timelines for the project.. 

    • Site Visit / Site Measure up / Before Photos: A thorough site analysis to gather all necessary measurements and photos.

    • 2nd Client Meeting (Face to face or Virtual) 

    • Initial design concept: including first ideas, vision boards, room zoning, and key designs (drawings, floor plans & 3D visuals, diagrams)

    • Gather trades: Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to discuss project requirements + discuss timeline and budgets and expectations.

    • 3rd Client Meeting (Face to face or virtual) 

    • The design is progressing and becoming more refined: drawing sets, floor plans, renders, walkthroughs, visuals. 

    • Material Selections: choose materials, finishes, and fixtures to bring the design to life.

    • 4th Client Meeting (Face to face or virtual) 

    • All final drawings are completed (technical drawings; elevations, plans, sections, details

    • Schedules & specifications: provide detailed schedules and specifications for materials and finishes. 

    • Drawings prepared for your builder / tradesperson: ensure all documentation is ready for the construction team. 

    • Construction phase begins: The timelines are reliant on the consultants, builders, and joiners etc. 

    • Completion

    • Post completion: Client feedback

At Archive Avenue, the design process is documented and presented to the client along with ongoing support and guidance. The studio values client input, as it is essential to creating a successful design. That's why regular client meetings and site visits are scheduled to ensure that the client's needs and vision for the project are understood.

These documents may include detailed floor plans, comprehensive drawing sets, immersive renders and walkthroughs, inspiring vision boards, and detailed furniture/material schedules. These form revisions for builders, joiners, and tradespeople.
